On November 27, 2024, in Vienna the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin took part in the Ministerial Conference International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Nuclear Science, Technology and Applications and the Technical Cooperation Programme.

In the margins of the conference, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the IAEA, implementation of ongoing joint projects, as well as new national projects in various areas within the framework of the IAEA Technical Cooperation Program for 2026-2027.
