On January 13, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkiye, Mr. Sodiq Imomi, held a working meeting with Turkiye’s Minister of Trade, Professor Omer Bolat, to discuss ways to deepen bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

The talks focused on current priorities and future opportunities for expanding economic ties between the two countries.

The Turkiye side reaffirmed its strong interest in strengthening cooperation with the Republic Tajikistan, highlighting the importance of fully leveraging existing potential, boosting bilateral trade volumes, and expanding direct engagement between business communities in both countries.
